Whether you’re a seasoned mountain worker or fresh to the industry, there’s a role to suit all snow lovers. The Selwyn Six offer fantastic work opportunities including ski patrollers, groomer and machinery operators, lifties, ticket office and café staff, rental and workshop personnel, right the way through to administration and managerial roles.
We’ve spent some time on the mountain and have caught up with some of those in the industry and have asked them what it takes to score a job in the industry. If you’re looking for work, simply get in touch with the mountains. Many will have positions advertised on their website February – May. Remember the earlier the better as the New Zealand ski industry usually runs late June to early October.
